The national flag of Panama is divided into four quarters. The upper-left quarter is white with a blue five-pointed star. The upper-right quarter is red. The lower-left quarter is blue. The lower-right quarter is white with a red five-pointed star. The flag was designed by María de la Ossa de Amador.
