Description
The national flag of Suriname consists of five horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the stripes are green, white, red, white, and green. The green stripes are of equal width, and the white stripes are thinner than the green ones. The central red stripe is the broadest, being twice the width of the green stripes. A large, yellow, five-pointed star is centered on the red stripe.
